I know that this isn't terribly important, but I think adding a feature where accounts could set their default search region, instead of having to adjust their region search could be a nice QOL adjustment.
Hi there, we discussed this feature early on, but ran into some potential issues.
Currently, the region and language will remain on whatever the user last searched. So, if you do a search for German / Germany, the settings will remain like this until you change it.
The issue we identified with setting a "default" region/language is that our user data shows that a typical user will complete a cluster of searches with a specific region/language before changing.
If, after a search was complete, the setting went back to a default set in the options, this means the user would need to adjust the region and language on every single search.
Either that, or we would need to work out a reasonable threshold for remaining the same within the search "session" and later resetting to a default.
I would welcome any thoughts you have on how we might tackle this issue with the suggested default settings for region/language.

Thanks Mark! I realized that I wasnt logged in and was using the free version of the platform. Now I see that the language/region is set now with every search (with what was last used). All good on our end.
